• Collaborates with RN’s, obstetricians, CRNA’s and anesthesiologists to serve in support role in Labor and Delivery, including within the OR. Responsible for supplies, instrumentation and equipment needed for surgical cases.
• Proficient in surgical environment as surgical assistant passing instruments and assisting the physician during surgical cases.
• Has expertise with aseptic technique within the surgical/obstetrical setting.
• Accomplishes assignments related to anesthesia supplies, equipment and set-up.
• Will demonstrate proficiency with various types of anesthesia and their preparation/set-up.
• Transports patients between units in a safe manner using good body mechanics.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Work Experience in lieu of Degree, or (TS-C) Tech in Surgery - Certified, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or Vocational School Graduate, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree, or Certificate
• 2+ years hospital experience required
• Robotics experience a plus
• 30 minutes call range required
