Duties and Expectations
  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile.
  • Use guests’ names whenever possible to ensure they feel warmly welcomed.
  • Contribute to great guest satisfaction scores.
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel facilities, amenities, and services.
  • Support all groups and events hosted at the hotel.
  • Understand and use relevant technology for each role.
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting.
  • Ensure all work spaces, front and back of house, are clean and well-organized.
  • Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed, ensuring hotel organization and safety.
  • Greet guests while cleaning, using their name when possible.
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time.
  • Submit accurate hand‑over reports for effective shift-to-shift communication.
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform, be well‑groomed, wear a nametag, and smile at all times.
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members.
  • Show a can‑do attitude and willingness to go beyond traditional role duties.
  • Collaborate with all team members at all levels to create a welcoming environment for guests and a positive workplace.
Housekeeper Role‑Specific Duties and Expectations

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, hallways, and public areas.

  • Complete pre‑cleaning duties, including stocking room supplies, attending morning stand‑up meetings, and assisting with linen in the laundry room.
  • Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms as assigned per shift.
  • Perform additional cleaning projects as assigned by the direct supervisor, such as storage rooms, public spaces, guest laundry, and deep cleaning activities.

  • Spotless Cleanliness – GM/AGM Spot Checks, Leadership Walk‑throughs, Guest Ratings/Reviews

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in hospitality, service, or consumer‑facing franchise or related field preferred.
  • Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures.
  • Handle pace and pressure; work well in stressful, high‑pressure situations.
  • Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
  • Desire to serve all guests.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Clock in/out on time for every shift and never work off the clock.
  • Clock in/out for breaks at designated times.
  • Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift as directed by the supervisor.
Physical Working Demands & Working Environment
  • Stooping, bending at waist.
  • Climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps.
  • Balancing on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces.
  • Knelling and crawling when required.
  • Standing for sustained periods.
  • Walking long distances or between work sites.
  • Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.
  • Lifting housekeeping items such as linens, trash, or vacuums.
