ALPA Auto Insurance is expanding in Texas. We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. This role focuses on selling and servicing various insurance policies to meet client needs and offers significant opportunities for career growth within the company.

• Hourly plus uncapped commission — paid weekly

• Selling insurance policies to businesses and individuals in an inside sales environment
• Explain features, advantages, and disadvantages of various policies to promote sales
• Contact underwriter and submit forms to bind coverage
• Perform administrative tasks: paperwork, filing, maintaining records, and handling policy renewals daily
• Create and maintain relationships with prospects and policyholders
• Adapt to environments with changing workloads and competing demands
• Overcome objections and close sales

• Education/Licensing:
  High School Diploma or GED
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of the Insurance Industry is a plus
• Valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required)

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a customer focus
• Basic computer knowledge; strong written, verbal, and people skills
• Proficient written communication (spelling, grammar, punctuation) and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Trustworthy, dependable, and ethical behavior
• Ability to quickly learn company software
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required
