At Manheim (a Cox Automotive company), we give a variety of vehicles a second life. We are looking for a Supervisor, Reconditioning Service to keep the process running smoothly. In this role you will assist the shop manager in overseeing daily operations.

- Supervise the inspection of vehicles.
- Manage the workflow and activities of shop employees to ensure all vehicles are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure employees have the proper equipment and are properly trained.
- Communicate and resolve reconditioning goals, results, and problems with the operations manager.
- Assist the manager in monitoring and evaluating employee job performance and conducting performance appraisals.
- Use management tools to track production and post charges.
- Lead by example and ensure that all employees are treated with respect.
- Monitor and control the use of supplies, materials, and equipment for the recon shop.
- Enforce all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.
You’re passionate about leadership, comfortable delegating responsibility and planning projects, and have a love of cars. Below are the qualifications:
Minimum- HS Diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience in a related field (vehicle reconditioning, detailing, mechanical and/or body shop experience); or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Competent supervisory and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Safe driver with a valid driver's license. Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Excellent people, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Strong communication and interaction skills.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
Compensation includes a base salary of $59,600.00 - $89,400.00. The base salary may vary within the range based on location and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
