. This position supports laboring patients from admission through birth and postpartum care.

Accountable for consistent, safe, high‑quality care of all laboring patients assigned from admission to post‑delivery. Familiar with vaginal and C‑section births, fetal monitoring and various anesthesia types. Demonstrates expertise in providing care during PACU period and newborn care during the first two hours of life.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse in the State of Texas – compact or multi‑state license accepted
• Associate Degree required – BSN required within 24 months of hire or transfer into RN position
• Minimum of three (3) years recent experience as an RN in Women Services in a hospital environment (L&D, Mother Baby, Antepartum)
• Demonstrated ability to care for women of childbearing age and infants up to four (4) years old
• Participates in an on‑call schedule
