Join Target as a Food & Beverage Expert in our Starbucks and bakery team. You will be responsible for ensuring guests receive fresh, high‑quality items while maintaining a guest‑focused experience.

Starting hourly rate $15.50 USD per hour.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in‑stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to proactively set, maintain and make planned changes to sales‑floor merchandise displays and keep organized back‑room space.
• Locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Execute all federal, state and local adult beverage laws as they apply to your business.
• Appropriately use and care for in‑store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU) and Drive‑up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.

• You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and fellow team members.
• You thrive in a fast‑moving, highly active and physically demanding role with teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem‑solving.
• You are open to working a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays).
• Must be at least 18 years of age (Bakery only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and follow multi‑step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb up and down ladders; scan and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds.
• Ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to –10°F and in spaces where common allergens may be present.
