Specialty Sales (Style, Tech, Beauty) – Part-time

Starting hourly rate: $15.50 USD per hour.

Target is committed to helping families discover the joy of everyday life through our values, culture, and style experiences. This role focuses on welcoming guests, delivering strong operations, and creating compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire in-store discovery.

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and guest needs; perform backroom replenishment and ensure prioritized fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Sort freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and follow visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising activities.
• Execute backroom organization and support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes and signing execution for clear signage.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests; support guest services such as pickup and drive-up as needed and comply with relevant laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs; thank guests for shopping with Target.
• Other duties as required by business needs.

• Ability to communicate across multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Effective communication, ability to work independently and with a team, and resolve guest questions quickly.
• Ability to stay focused and complete multiple tasks within established time frames.

Physical and scheduling requirements:

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed; climb ladders; lift up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally with assistance.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required; able to work in variable temperatures and conditions; able to remain mobile for shift duration.
