Base Pay Range: $88,000.00 – $ per year

Job Overview

The Sales Team Leader will lead direct sales efforts in a designated territory, focusing on promoting supplemental insurance products to small and medium‑sized business owners and employees. The role blends active selling with training and mentorship of new team members, driving outreach and achieving quotas while fostering a high‑performance culture.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct direct sales activities with business owners, benefits managers, and employees.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to new team members.
  • Balance sales goals with team development and performance metrics.
  • Deliver occasional product presentations to groups of 50-100+ attendees.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills with customers and sales staff.
  • Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities.
  • Experience with effective sales strategies and motivational techniques.
  • Ability to train and develop others.
  • Product knowledge and customer service orientation.
Additional Qualifications
  • Pass a high‑level pre‑employment background check.
  • Active driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your resident state (or willingness to obtain; study course and licensing fee reimbursement provided).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 4+ years post‑high school work experience (eligible candidates within 6 months of degree completion or with relevant sales/athletic background).
