Job DescriptionMedical Technologist - PRN
FacilityAcadian Medical Center, a Campus of Mercy Regional Medical Center
DescriptionDescription Responsible for accuracy of examinations and analysis performed in the Clinical Laboratory. Must understand the limitations of laboratory equipment and apparatus.
Qualifications- Current licensure as a Medical Technologist by the State of Louisiana
- B.S. Degree and registered by ASCP or equivalent
- Five to eight years of experience in the clinical laboratory setting preferred
- Verbal ability to communicate with personnel and adminstration; clerical ability to record, transcribe and compare data. Color discrimination, ability to
- direct, control and plan staff activities. Ability to delegate; ability to foster good public relations.
