The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process, the therapeutic environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Current RN licensure in the state of Louisiana. BLS required. ACLS, PALS strongly recommended. Physical/emotional stamina. Communicates in a clear and understandable manner appropriate to the age/developmental stage of the patient or visitor. Demonstrates good interpersonal skills. Meets specific departmental criteria and/or certifications.
