Overview
Description Assists in the care and transportation of patients. Assists licensed nursing personnel in carrying out nursing process. Works under supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Is a strong patient advocate. Demonstrates basic clinical skills in accordance with established procedures and functions of the position. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications- Current knowledge and skills in performing job responsibilities specific to the age and type of patient population served.
- Written and verbal communications clear and understandable. Courteous in all communication situations regardless of circumstances.
- Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients rights.
- Current Certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- Current BLS required.
