Description The L.P.N. is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients in cooperation with the registered professional nurse for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process, the therapeutic environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
Qualifications Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care. Is assertive.
Communicates in a clear, concise and understandable manner. Current licensure in the state of Louisiana as an LPN.Current BLS.Strongly recommended ACLS and PALS. Sound knowledge base of general nursing theory and practice for all patient populations to be served.
