Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Specialist

Required Skills:

  • Active California medical license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient clinical activity in hematology and oncology
  • Experience with inpatient and outpatient care within hospital settings
  • Ability to efficiently manage a busy clinical environment
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in handling a caseload of approximately 500 analytic cases annually
  • Familiarity with chemotherapy management and oncology protocols
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience with multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards, especially COC accreditation
  • Prior experience in a hospital-based oncology clinic attached to a chemo treatment center
  • Case log documentation for surgical specialties
  • Ability to explain gaps in work history greater than three months
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Active California medical license
  • At least two years of recent hospital-based hematology and oncology practice
  • Proven experience managing inpatient oncology cases
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work a full-time schedule, five shifts per week
  • Schedule includes regular clinic hours, on-call duties one week out of every three
  • Call responsibilities involve responding by phone only; no onsite callbacks after hours or on weekends
  • Flexibility to start as early as March with a clean file; earlier start possible if files are prepared
  • Must provide current case logs upon application
  • Travel or licensure/certification reimbursements applicable where relevant
  • Pay Rate: $1.00/hour
