Emergency Room (ER) Specialty in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized emergency care to a diverse patient population in an observation unit that is on hold for emergency department patients. The role requires adaptable clinical skills to meet high patient acuity and volume, with a focus on delivering quality patient care.

• Certifications, Education, and
  
  Experience:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC certifications are required. The candidate must have at least 1 year of ER experience, including patient ratio experience of 4, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Schedule:
  
  12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  Cover observation unit patients on hold for emergency department, manage ventilated patients, and perform critical procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, and arterial blood gas interpretation.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with trauma, pediatric emergency care, and advanced airway management.
• Float:
  Float rotation may be required, with coverage of nearby facilities as needed.
• Submission Requirements:
  Candidates must respond to specific questions regarding past work at a similar facility, provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years, and meet the specified licensing requirements.
