Wound Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants needed in Eureka, CA — No Wound Care Experience Required - Training Provided!
Responsibilities- Round weekly at assigned facilities within territory.
- Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine.
- Physical demands: standing and walking for long periods; bending; kneeling; proximal and distal dexterity; lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Perform medical procedures such as debridement as necessary.
- Communicate and collaborate on findings and treatments with facility clinical staff.
- Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.
- Document each patient encounter in EMR (APRIMA) and maintain patient medical records on a company laptop.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary.
- Instruments provided by Ameri Wound, such as debridement kits and hurricane spray.
- A dedicated nurse rounds with you at each facility.
- APRN, PA-C
- Two years of experience as a Solo Practitioner preferred
- Active, unrestricted state medical license
- DEA license
- Valid driver s license
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients
- Strong technical skill using EMR, with high attention to detail
- Part-Time (2-3 days/week), with growth potential to Full-Time (4-5 days/week)
- Schedule:
Weekly rounds, typically Monday–Friday, ~7am to 4pm (flexible start time); no evenings, weekends, or on-call - Compensation:
Uncapped W-2 earning potential; projected $175k-$195k annually for full-time providers - Benefits and equipment:
Company laptop with EMR Aprima; malpractice coverage; mileage reimbursement per IRS guidelines; instruments provided (debridement kits, etc.); dedicated nurse to round with at each facility
