Provide diagnostic Computed Tomography (CT) services to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients under radiologist supervision, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective procedures.
Responsibilities Include- Positioning patients correctly and using proper immobilization techniques
- Performing optimal scans with correct technical factors based on patient diagnosis and clinical info
- Following departmental workflow, verifying patient identity, acquiring history, and sending images to PACS
- Preparing patients, explaining procedures, and addressing questions
- Administering contrast media via IV, monitoring patient condition, and documenting procedures and history
- Ensuring proper inventory, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to safety protocols
- Documenting charges, reactions, and incidents accurately
- Collaborating with team members and maintaining high-quality image production
- Certification in CT (ARRT) within 1 year and BLS certification
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist with radiography registration
- Related educational background and radiologic technology training
- Strong technical skills in adjusting imaging parameters and equipment
- Excellent patient communication, teamwork, and attention to safety and detail
