This unique opportunity allows you to provide care across various departments, including Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical, all while working at your convenience!

As an LPN in our Gig Nursing Program, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care under the supervision of licensed professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing the nursing process to provide quality patient care.
• Maintaining professional accountability for your assigned patients.
• Coordinating care with other departments to ensure patient rights and confidentiality.

Location: Mercy Hospital Perry and Surrounding Communities

Department: GIG

Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flex/Float

Shift: Various Shifts Available

• $30/hour + Variable Shift Incentive
• W-2 Employee Status
• Minimum of 12 hours every 90 days
• Maximum of 30 hours a week (Sun-Sat)
• Flexible shifts: 4, 8, or 12 hours

Required Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; must maintain a current LPN license in the state of practice.

Experience:

• One year of recent bedside LPN experience for Med-Surg.
• Two years of recent bedside LPN experience for other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.).

Certifications:

• BLS for Med-Surg
• BLS, ACLS for Critical Care
• BLS, ACLS, & PALS for Emergency Department
• IV certification required

Preferred Experience: Epic experience.

This position requires the ability to:

• Push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Stand and walk for prolonged periods each shift.
• Grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
