This part-time day position (2-12's, 7am-7pm) is perfect for compassionate nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment. You will:

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for your assigned patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care with various departments.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
• Perform your duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Known as Acute Rehab, ARU, or Inpatient Rehab, our unit offers a fulfilling career for nurses eager to make a tangible difference. You will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients facing challenges such as:

• CVA (Stroke)
• Brain Injury
• Spinal Injury
• Amputation
• Hip Fracture
• Joint Replacement
• Other Neurological Syndromes

• 
  
  Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Must maintain a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• 
  
  Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly, along with prolonged standing and walking.
• 
  
  Certifications:
  
  
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (or completion within 30 days of hire).
  • Additional certifications may be required based on the position/unit.
