Schedule:
M-F, 7a - 7p, 7p - 7a, 10-12 hr shifts - Worksite Setting:
Inpatient (hospital), - Scope of Work:
Emergency medicine physician, 10-15 shifts per month required - Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:
Active FL state medical license, BC/BE in EM (ABEM / AOBEM), 3 years/ 6000hrs in the Ed experience is required, BC in FM/ IM only, ACLS and PALS - EMR: TBD
- Pay Rate Preferred: $290/hr
Additional Details an Emergency Medicine Physician will want to know about a position:
- Requirement for Non-ER residency doctors is 6000 hours ER experience and FT Emergency Room work in the three years preceding application
Other Details to consider:
- ED Features:
- State-of-the-art free-standing emergency department
- 12-bed private exam rooms, with designated trauma room
- Annual emergency department volume of 11,000
- Physician Daily Coverage: 24 hours
- Patients Per Hour: 1.3
- Diagnostic imaging on-site including x-rays and CT scans, with and without contrast
- Ultrasound on call 24/7 with a 30 minute response time
- Laboratory services on-site
