Job Description:
Aims Community College actively supports an environment that embraces the College's Mission, Vision, Values and a culture of innovation and care. College for Kids provides an enrichment summer program for students ages 9‑12. Each location's schedule runs Monday‑Thursday, with participants taking two classes with a lunch break. Morning courses run from 9:00 am to 11:30 am; afternoon courses run from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
Instructors will teach the same class in the morning and the afternoon all four days.
College for Kids will have sessions at the Aims Community College campuses at Fort Lupton, Windsor, and Greeley. The Loveland sessions will be at Peakview Academy, Conrad Ball Middle School. Dates:
Loveland June 1‑4, Fort Lupton June 8‑11, Windsor June 15‑18, Greeley June 22‑25.
Work Hours:
20‑40 hours per week during the program’s session. Temporary position from late May to late June 2026.
- Report to work punctually and adhere to the agreed‑upon work schedule and time‑entries.
- Responsible for student safety throughout the program, including but not limited to:
Mandatory Reporter Training, check‑ins/check‑outs, transitions between classes, bathroom breaks, snacks, and lunch/recess. - Demonstrate sensitivity toward and respect for the diversity represented in the program.
- Adapt and navigate situations in a fast‑paced environment.
- Assist instructors with classroom setup/breakdown, implementing daily lesson plans, classroom activities/experiments, and classroom management.
- Communicate with the Coordinator and staff effectively via verbal communication, phone, or email.
- Communicate well with students, parents/guardians, and coworkers, including in‑person inquiries.
- Assist the Coordinator and instructors with administrative tasks: email/phone communication, accessing class rosters via Lumens/Smartsheets, operating iPads and laptops for sign‑in/sign‑out, obtaining student information via the online registration system, organizing class and instructor information using Smartsheets and Google Sheets to track inventory and program supplies.
- Participate in necessary training and mandatory in‑person orientation.

- Applicants must be 16 or older and authorized to work in the United States on a full or part‑time basis.
- Basic computer knowledge with ability to troubleshoot software and classroom technology.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications.
- Basic knowledge of platforms such as Lumens Online Registration and Smartsheets.
- Knowledge or understanding of teaching environments.
- Experience working in fast‑paced environments.
- Minimum 2 years of interacting with minors in a structured setting (parent, daycare provider, teacher, teacher’s assistant, babysitter, etc.).
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- CPR / First Aid certificate. Training available prior to the start of the program.
