Based on course content, wages will range from $1,297.00 per credit to $3,753.00 per credit. In certain instances, due to low enrollment, faculty payment will be based on part‑time per credit pay and pro‑rated on a 10% per student basis. Part‑time employees also receive some benefits depending on the number of hours worked.

The primary purpose of the faculty member is to teach. The faculty member is also responsible for scholarly and creative activities and service to the college.
Interacting with students to provide opportunities to learn, creating conditions that facilitate learning, and using techniques and methods that create a high probability that learning will occur.

- Apply learning‑centered educational practices such as creating and communicating clearly defined outcomes.

- Use assessment data to improve instruction and participate in ongoing college‑wide dialogue about teaching and learning.
