BDA DAS Field Service Manager
Join Bear Com in this role where you will oversee day‑to‑day operations in the Field Service Department and manage a team of technicians and installers.
Base Pay Range$35.00/hr – $40.00/hr

- Manage BDA/DAS projects and service assignments.
- Act as liaison between Bear Com technicians and Motorola or end customers.
- Prepare quotes, bids, and schedules for installation and repair tasks.
- Schedule and organize upcoming field work.
- Provide technical support in field operations.
- Validate new installations by testing equipment under real operating conditions.
- Install, maintain, and support wireless communication equipment (UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz analog and digital systems).
- Operate mobile, portable radio equipment, dispatch consoles, and microwave systems using conventional and trunked technologies.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and resolve equipment problems with customers.
- Support installation of base stations, repeaters, mobile devices, wireless broadband devices, and CCTV equipment. Analyze diagnostic test results and configure radios.
- Execute customer Functional Acceptance Test Plans (FATP) and document results of site surveys and assessments.
- Make minor modifications to electronic circuitry and deploy factory software/firmware updates.
- Provide training and coaching to field service technicians and installers.
- Travel and be on call as required.
- Assist with other projects as assigned.
- 5+ years of BDA/DAS installation or commissioning experience and technical management in the wireless industry.
- 5+ years leading foreman or construction teams.
- Experience developing and qualifying new business opportunities through customer interface.
- Strong understanding of vendor resources network.
- Experience managing complex project implementations.
- Knowledge of business practices and P&L responsibility.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Technical leadership experience with wireless solutions and multiple 2‑way radio technologies.
- Accredited college degree or equivalent combination of education and training.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Security clearance is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Background checks will be conducted.
