What you'll do and how you'll contribute to the team is described below. This role involves customer service, product quality, inventory management, and using digital tools to support store operations.
Responsibilities- Maintain a positive attitude, greet and thank members, and provide exceptional customer service across the club as needed.
- Ensure a clean, neat, and member-ready area; receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner; maintain in-stock levels; and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
- Assist with product quality decisions for produce by ensuring availability, cleanliness, and freshness, and by following safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics; utilize digital tools and handheld devices to drive sales, support training, and make quick business decisions with the member in mind.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and tasks, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Be a Team Member: Maintain knowledge of products, collaborate across teams, develop customer service skills, and adapt to other areas as needed.
- Be an Expert: Understand produce quality processes, prepare products to standards, maintain product safety, and follow applicable laws and policies.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales and engagement, using handheld technology for decisions in production, training, and quality.
- Be an Owner: Drive area performance, manage inventory and date controls, reduce waste, and support customers according to company policies.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and energy, advocate for the department and club, and maintain commitment to quality.
