Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Overview

Merchandise and Stocking Associate at Sam's Club. Base pay range listed: $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr the actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

• Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assist with self-service technology and purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve member issues; promote products and services.
• Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to policy; report unsafe situations to management.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation; properly zone areas; stock and organize merchandise; set up and clean displays; remove damaged goods; price and tag merchandise; identify shrink and damages; secure fragile and high-shrink items.
• Monitor product quality, rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation; ensure prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Comply with company policies and ethics; execute business processes with integrity and adapt to change and feedback.
• Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and coworkers, and communicating progress; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure club pick-up orders are filled and staged according to policy and procedures.
