Position:Maintenance Technician
Location:
Mission Village Evans and Mission Village Greeley, Evans, CO.
- Performs repairs, troubleshoots systems, and completes preventative maintenance following standardized diagnostic approaches.
- Performs on‑site basic repairs of HVAC systems, appliances, water heaters, facility electrical systems, plumbing, and special equipment.
- Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
- Assists in training Groundskeepers and entry‑level Maintenance Technicians.
- Troubleshoots all property systems, performs or oversees repairs.
- Conducts maintenance‑related inspections, including building and alarm systems; prepares property for regulatory inspections.
- Performs preventive maintenance: winterizing facilities, inspecting HVAC and pool equipment, maintaining chemical balance, ensuring lights/HVAC are off in vacant units.
- Inspects vacant units, completes turnovers, and paints as needed.
- Inspects subcontracted service providers, documenting work quality.
- Walks grounds and common interior areas daily, removing litter and debris.
- Removes snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, steps, and driveways.
- Attends and completes required training.
- Completes repairs as directed.
- Manages administrative duties: records maintenance requests, uses proper forms, maintains inventory of parts.
- Moves heavy equipment safely using proper equipment.
- Ensures property compliance with Affordable Housing programs (HUD, USDA, RD, LIHTC, HOME, and other state/local programs).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Two (2) years of maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- HVAC and/or EPA certification required.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Previous multifamily experience preferred but not required.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred but not required.
$23 – $24 hourly
