Ticket Seller Staff – Ford Center/Victory Theatre/Old National Events Plaza

Summary
:
Responsible for processing ticket sales at the Ticket Office and providing customer assistance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:

  • Works under the supervision of the Ticket Office Manager.
  • Projects professional appearance and manner.
  • Provides information to patrons regarding performances and ticket policies.
  • Provides customer service in all aspects of the Ticket Office, including phones.
  • Utilizes Ticketmaster software to process ticket sales.
  • Maintains accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Assists in the enforcement of building policies for patrons.
  • Provides assistance for patrons in emergency situations.
  • Accountable for transactions at his/her work station.
  • Performs any related tasks as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
:
None.

Qualifications
:

  • Excellent customer relations, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Availability to work primarily nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Education and/or Experience
:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience desired.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn Ticketmaster software.
  • Ability to accurately handle money and perform basic math on spreadsheets/calculators.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
:

  • Current, valid driver’s license.
  • Current working home telephone for business contact.

Language Skills
:

  • Speak and understand English.
  • Read and interpret instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Deal effectively and courteously with the general public.

Reasoning Ability
:

  • Maintain calm, composed presence in fast‑paced environments.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Physical Demands
:

  • Reach, talk, and use hands regularly.
  • Stand, walk, sit, use hands to manipulate.
  • Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally.
  • Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Good vision (close, distance, color, focus).
