, we’re passionate about creating beautiful smiles and providing exceptional patient care. We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant to join our team and help us make every patient’s orthodontic experience a positive one!
Monday & Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
Indiana X-ray license required or currently working toward certification
Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Build trusting relationships with patients and provide an exceptional patient experience.
Assist with placing and removing orthodontic appliances and adjusting arch wires, elastic ties, power chains, and other auxiliaries as permitted by state regulations.
Educate patients on orthodontic care, headgear use, and rubber band instructions.
Take orthodontic records, including panoramic and cephalometric X-rays.
Maintain accurate patient charts, document doctor’s notes, and review home care instructions with patients and guardians.
Perform laboratory procedures, including pouring and trimming models and fabricating clear aligners.
Keep treatment areas stocked and organized, and clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments and equipment.
