Elementary School Teacher: Title Instructionalist

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Instruct students and facilitate learning according to corporation policies and state guidelines.
• Guide students in educational activities promoting intellectual, social, and physical growth.
• Teach essential skills contributing to students' development as educated and responsible adults.
• Implement corporation-approved curriculum and create a conducive classroom environment appropriate to students' maturity and interests.
• Assist administration in enforcing policies and rules governing student life and conduct.
• Develop and communicate reasonable classroom procedures and behavior rules, maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
• Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Employ various instructional techniques, media, and assessments to achieve academic and curriculum goals.
• Establish clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects and communicate them to students.
• Assess student accomplishments regularly and provide progress reports as required.
• Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law and corporation policy.
• Administer and analyze standardized testing data, adjusting instructional strategies to maximize student success.
• Recognize special needs of students with learning disabilities, seek assistance from specialists, and make appropriate accommodations.

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Indiana teaching certificate in the appropriate grade level and area of study.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations for disabilities.

• Salary commensurate with education and experience.
• Career Path I salary range: $47,000 - $66,500.
• Career Path II salary range: $48,500 - $90,500.
