Field Service Power Generation Technician

Overview

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Evansville, IN. $5000 Sign on Bonus!

Evansville, IN.

Employment type:

Full-time. On-site with some flexibility.

• Completing repair activities on generators or components
• Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of service
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

• Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
• High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
• Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products
• Basic Diesel Engine experience
• Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
• Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and perform commissioning on a new ATS installation
• Current valid license required
• 5 year motor vehicle report free from major violations
• Pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). years driving experience
• DOT driving regulations awareness (Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use)
• CDL may be required to obtain upon hire; 21 years or older if CDL is required
