We currently have an opportunity available for an entry‑level Civil Engineer to join our Civil/Environmental Team in our Evansville, IN office. The selected candidate will assist with the planning, design, and construction phase services for a wide variety of wastewater, potable water and storm water infrastructure projects.

• Performs design tasks including computations and analysis for municipal infrastructure including water and wastewater treatment plants, sanitary sewers, lift stations, water distribution, and storm water facilities.
• Applies engineering principals to develop solutions and evaluate performance and life cycle cost of municipal infrastructure improvements.
• Creates drawings and models following the company’s design standards and utilizing the designated CAD or modeling software with limited guidance.
• Assists with the preparation of reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, supporting documents and permit applications.
• Assists with construction phase services for water and wastewater treatment facilities and for sanitary sewer, potable water, and storm sewer infrastructure projects.
• Interprets construction plans and documents for the contractor and client, interfaces with operators regarding potential interference with operations.
• Assists with full or preliminary review of shop drawings, submittals, change orders, punch lists and contractor as‑builts.
• Assists with maintaining project documentation, daily reports of construction site activity, project files, RFIs and submittals.
• Participates in progress meetings and assists in equipment startup and project close‑out.
• Drafts correspondence, reports and communicates effectively with project stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

• B.S. degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, EIT is desired.
• Coursework and/or experience (internship or co‑op) in hydraulics with emphasis on one or more of the following areas: wastewater treatment, water treatment, water distribution, or storm water modeling.
• Ability to accurately perform calculations to support detailed design recommendations.
• Good communication skills with the ability to write technical reports and actively participate in project meetings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members from multiple offices.
• Experience with AutoCAD (Civil3D), Water
  
  CAD, SWMM, GIS is desired.
• Experience in hydrologic/hydraulic analysis software including HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, HEC‑GeoRAS, XP‑SWMM, Biowin and/or other similar software packages is desired.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

• Starting salary range: $74,880- $79,040
