Job SummaryOur client, a leader in multi-trade industrial contracting services, is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and brings strong electrical estimating experience within the contracting industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for various electrical projects (conceptual, design-build, tender work)
Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs based on blueprints, schematics, and specs
Review scope documents to determine material and labor needs
Generate RFQs and solicit competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
Use estimating software such as Accubid Classic or Accubid Anywhere for calculations
Work with the Estimating Manager to set indirect and overhead costs
Support other duties aligned with company goals as assigned
Must-Haves / Requirements Summary3+ years of experience in electrical estimating within the contracting industry
Proficiency with Accubid estimating software
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
Knowledge of electrical sub-trade scopes of work
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Comfortable interacting with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Preferred QualificationsPrevious work in a multi-trade industrial environment
