Electrical Estimator​/Project Manager

Overview

Hire Now Staffing is partnering with a well-established and rapidly expanding industrial electrical contractor in search of five experienced Electrical Estimators / Project Managers. If you have hands-on experience in electrical construction and a passion for estimating and managing industrial-scale projects, this role offers career elevation, not just employment. Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 (plus annual bonus opportunities)

You’ll be part of a tight-knit estimating and project leadership team working on major industrial electrical contracts. This includes hands-on bid preparation, cost analysis, and full-cycle project management duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze bid specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimates
• Develop accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
• Lead pre-bid meetings, negotiate with vendors, and collaborate with field supervisors to align execution plans
• Track project budgets from award through closeout, identifying variances and providing cost-control recommendations
• Maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, building codes, and client-specific regulations
• Assist in developing standard cost estimating tools and processes for consistency across teams
• Provide leadership in risk management, scheduling, and quality assurance

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in electrical construction estimating and/or project management
• Proven ability to manage industrial projects of $5M+
• Familiarity with electrical blueprints, scope specs, and cost codes
• Proficient with estimating software;
  Accubid is highly preferred
• Experience using project management tools and MS Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred:

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related trade certification
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Knowledge of scheduling software and industrial safety standards

Monday through Friday, standard 8-hour shifts. Minimal travel (less than 10%) for site visits and vendor coordination.
