Part‑Time Direct Support Professional - Adult Day Services

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center - Evansville, INProvided pay range: $16.00/hr - $16.00/hr
Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a part‑time position at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center Southwestern Indiana providing direct care to individuals with disabilities in our Aspire Day Services. No previous experience needed; training provided. Monday‑Friday 8:30‑2:00 (Wednesday 8:30‑4:00).
Responsibilities- Assist with feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Administer medications, treatments, and other medical procedures as trained and prescribed
- Implement behavior programs and documentation
- Assist with activities and outings
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or ability to pass a reading test
- Experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds frequently
- Must pass a physical, drug screen, TB test, reference checks, background checks
