Job SummaryThe Sr. Business Development Coordinator is responsible for fostering strategic relationships with regional hospitals, EMS, physicians, providers, and businesses to drive growth and development for Deaconess Health System (DHS). This role serves as a liaison between DHS and key decision-makers, ensuring strong partnerships and contributing to a pipeline of new projects. The position requires collaboration with marketing, sales, and operational teams to implement business development initiatives.
The Coordinator will also assist in trauma case reviews and standardization of trauma practice guidelines, as well as promote trauma care standards in line with American College of Surgeons (ACS) guidelines.
- Identify and recommend key business development opportunities for DHS.
- Execute short-term and long-term strategic plans to grow the organization.
- Maintain relationships with DHS department leaders and key market decision-makers.
- Research and recommend regional primary and specialty care clinics for affiliation with DHS.
- Cultivate relationships to gain market preference and grow strategic partnerships.
- Support outpatient services departments in smooth integration of DHS services.
- Manage workflow and project timelines between DHS and regional facilities.
- Provide regional support for department assessments, clinical opportunities, and new program development.
- Serve as EMS System Coordinator and represent DHS at Region 5 EMS and Trauma Committee meetings as needed.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare, or Marketing, with 3+ years of healthcare experience.
- Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or MSN) and clinical leadership experience within the Deaconess Health System.
- Creativity, independent planning, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various teams to implement strategies.
