IT Monitoring Analyst

Overview

Our client, a leader in consumer lending and financial services, is seeking an IT Monitoring Analyst to join their team in Evansville, IN
!

This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits and potential for extension or conversion to FTE

• Monitor on-premises and cloud systems (Azure, AWS) for alerts, outages, and performance issues.
• Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems or escalate to senior technical teams when needed.
• Document incidents, resolutions
  , and follow-up actions accurately.
• Provide first-level support to end-users via phone, email, or ticketing systems
  .
• Perform routine system health checks and preventive maintenance tasks
  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve incident response processes
  .
• Stay current on monitoring tools, cloud technologies, and best practices
  .

• 1+ year of experience in IT monitoring
  , technical support
  , or system operations.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP), and cloud services (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Ops Ramp, Elastic, App Dynamics).
• Experience with AWS Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor
  , or similar cloud-native monitoring tools.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Azure Fundamentals.
