A leading financial services company specializing in lending solutions is seeking a Principal Dev Ops Engineer to enhance their enterprise Dev Ops and Platform Engineering strategies. The company operates across 44 states with a focus on providing safe and transparent financial solutions to millions of customers.
Job Responsibilities:- Define and execute the enterprise Dev Ops and Platform Engineering strategy aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Lead technical initiatives spanning multiple projects, portfolios, and Lines of Business (LOBs).
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture to define platform standards, reusable architectures, and technology roadmaps.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available, and self-service Dev Ops platforms.
- Develop reusable platform capabilities that accelerate application onboarding.
- Standardize CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and release automation.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Architect cloud-native deployment patterns across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using Dev Sec Ops practices.
- Design highly available and resilient deployment architectures.
- Establish Dev Ops design patterns, engineering standards, and best practices.
- 12+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, Dev Ops, or Platform Engineering.
- 7+ years designing and implementing enterprise Dev Ops platforms.
- 5+ years leading enterprise-wide Dev Ops or Platform Engineering initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing Kubernetes/Open Shift platforms.
- Proven experience implementing enterprise CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Dev Sec Ops practices.
- Programmatically create infrastructure in AWS, leveraging Autoscaling Groups, Security Groups, Route
53, S3, and IAM. - Experience with Git and building data infrastructure using Terraform.
Pay Rate: $85 - $107/hr
