Machine Operator - Downtown
Berry Global, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in downtown. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality production, accurate labeling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities- Verify print quality against specified limits for the tri-fold color range.
- Calculate the number of parts required to complete each order.
- Label each order in sequence, beginning where the previous shift left off.
- Place completed boxes on skids and individual parts in totes or tray packs.
- Remove and scrap faulty product, applying SCRAP labels to all scrap containers.
- Group products made of similar materials in the same box.
- Complete required paperwork for each order.
- Maintain and enforce company safety, environmental, and Department of Health requirements.
- Communicate with subsequent shift operators regarding quality issues and customer specifications.
- Report print quality concerns related to the product.
- Stamp completed boxes with date, shift, and clock number.
- Keep the work area orderly and clean.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Ability to calculate part requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capability to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours during an 8‑hour shift or 10.75 hours during a 12‑hour shift.
- Minimal lifting capability of 30 lbs. at a frequency of 20 times per hour.
- Visual acuity of at least 20/40 corrected vision for distance and the ability to read 7‑point font at 12 inches.
- Ability to reach and lift 30 lbs. to shoulder height at a minimum of 10 times per hour.
- Must pass the Ishihara color vision exam.
