- Start-up and Shut-down of Thermoforming lines.
Change extruder screen packs. - Fill roll-stand and extruder water tanks if required.
Check part quality for defects as often as time permits and if needed, correct accordingly. - Pull one shot of parts at the beginning of the shift and turnover to quality assurance.
- Ensure operators and operator assistants are performing their duties correctly.
- Fill out "Material Percentages Sheet" and turnover to a Lead-person to be recorded in the Thermoforming Traceability system.
- Keep regrind in the day bins at a comfortable operating level.
- Ensure all production equipment is operational and perform minor repairs if necessary.
- Notify Thermoforming Maintenance if a machine failure occurs.
- Maintain the department in a clean and orderly manner.
- Record production results at the end of the shift in the WebEFF system.
- Maintain and enforce all company safety, environment and Department of Health requirements
