Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a night shift position on a 16-bed Oncology Unit requiring an active RN license and AHA BLS certification.

• Position is on a 16-bed Oncology Unit with hematology, end-of-life/hospice, and overflow med/surg patients
• Hospital setting with night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Patient care includes oncology, hematology, hospice, and some medical/surgical cases
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, care plan implementation, and documenting in EHR
• May care for patients at various stages including end-of-life or hospice and med/surg overflow
• ADL assistance and follow-through with provider orders is expected
• EHR documentation required
• All positions are auto offer
• Travelers may only apply to one position system wide
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate, with radius rules varying by state
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required

• Active RN license required; primary source verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
