Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a night shift Med/Surg position caring for pulmonary and medical overflow patients on a 22-bed unit.

• Work in a hospital Medical Surgical unit (6 South) specializing in pulmonary and medical overflow cases
• 22-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Night shift position, 19:00-07:30
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced rate per facility radius rules
• Care for patients with pulmonary conditions and those experiencing medical overflow
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• All positions are auto offer
• If any disciplinary actions are present on license, completion of the FACIS Questionnaire is required
• Travelers may discuss contract extensions starting 45 days before current assignment end date

• Active RN license with current primary source verification required within 30 days of assignment start
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required
