Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Ortho Neuro unit with an IN or compact RN license and recent BLS certification.
Responsibilities- Work in a 16-bed Med/Surg Ortho Neuro unit within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes orthopedic and neurological cases
- Typical patient ratio is 1:6-8
- Day shift position, working from 06:45 to 19:15
- Local candidates may be considered but will receive a reduced rate due to facility radius rules
- COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required
- Travelers are encouraged to discuss contract extensions with their managers 45 days before end of assignment
- All positions are auto offer
- Two professional references and a copy of driver’s license are required for consideration
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience
- Must provide Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start
- US Social Security Number and US home address required
