Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position on a post-surgical unit with BLS certification required.

• Work in a post-surgical medical-surgical unit (5 South) of a hospital
• 22-bed unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment
• Patient population includes post-surgical cases
• All candidates are subject to a radius rule, with local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
• Travelers may discuss contract extensions with their managers starting 45 days before contract end
• Unit uses primary source license verification; any disciplinary actions require completion of a FACIS Questionnaire

• Active RN license with Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be from AHA
• Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg nursing experience
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US address
• Copy of driver’s license required
• Two separate professional references required
