Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical night shift position requiring a current RN license and AHA BLS certification.

• Work on a 22-bed Medical Surgical unit specializing in post-surgical care
• Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Typical patient ratio is 1:4-5
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for patients recovering from surgery in a team-oriented environment
• All positions follow a radius rule for local candidates which may affect pay
• Covid vaccination is not required
• Must submit two references and a copy of driver’s license for consideration
• Only one assignment accepted system-wide at a time
• Start discussions regarding contract extension 45 days before assignment end date

• Active RN license with primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg experience
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Nursys verification required prior to start
• Candidates must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address
