We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and help us continue delivering excellence in long-term care.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Assistant Director of Nursing
, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Director of Nursing by ensuring that high-quality, compliant, and compassionate care is provided throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Supervising, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance with all state and federal nursing care standards.
- Conducting training and performance evaluations to foster staff growth and retention.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal resident outcomes.
- Addressing resident and family concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the state of Pennsylvania.
- Experience:
- Minimum of two years in a supervisory role within a long-term care, hospital, or similar healthcare setting.
- Experience working with the geriatric population preferred.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of nursing regulations and best practices for skilled nursing facilities.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
