Position: Registered Nurse - Hospice (RN)

Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.

As a Hospice Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to hospice patients at the Linda

E. White Hospice House. Our Hospice Nurses are responsible for the clinical supervision of Aides, Licensed Practical Nurses, and student nurses in the management of the patient’s plan of care.

Required:
Certifications/Licenses/

Experience:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or a compact licensed state

Preferred:
Certifications/Licenses/

Experience:

  • Six (6) months of nursing experience
  • Six (6) months of home care experience

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to hospice patients. Supervise clinical care of Aides, Licensed Practical Nurses, and student nurses. Manage patients’ plans of care and coordinate interdisciplinary care teams.

Qualifications Education
  • Associates or better in Nursing.
Preferred Education
  • Bachelors or better in Nursing.
Experience
  • 1 year of Med/Surg Nursing experience
  • 1 year of Hospice experience
Licenses & Certifications
  • CPR (AHA)
