American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position on a dedicated Stroke Unit requiring telemetry and stepdown-level patient care experience.

• Work in a 30-bed Progressive Care Unit functioning as a dedicated Stroke Unit
• Patient population includes medical, DKA, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgical cases
• 1:4 nurse to patient ratio
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length

• Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration

• Provide stepdown-level nursing care to a complex and diverse patient population on a dedicated Stroke Unit
• Radius rule in effect that allows local candidates to be considered at a reduced rate
• Candidates should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
