Description:
Ratios are 1:2 and can go up to 1:30. The charting system used is Cerner. There will be 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. Day shifts are on Saturday and Sunday. Night shifts are Friday and Saturday. Scrub color is navy blue. Shifts are 12 hours from 0700 to 1930 and from 1900 to 0730. Self-scheduling is available. Staff may float to stepdown as needed.
Common diagnoses include respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and obstetric cases. There are 36 private beds and utilization of 24. The cancellation policy allows for up to 2 shifts to be canceled per assignment less than 13 weeks without penalty. For assignments of 13 weeks or longer, up to 3 shifts may be canceled without penalty.
