American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring Critical Care and open heart recovery experience on a day shift schedule.

• Critical Care-Cardiovascular ICU unit with 8 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3
• Patient population includes post-surgical cardiothoracic, vascular surgery, thoracotomies, TAVRs, and post complex PCI interventions
• Procedures include post-open heart and post-cardiac recovery, central line, arterial line, and chest tube placements
• Uses Edwards and GE monitoring systems and SWAN Ganz catheters
• Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
• 13-week assignment

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care/Cardiac Critical Care experience required
• Open heart recovery and post cardiac procedure recovery experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required

• Provide post-surgical and post-procedural critical care monitoring for cardiovascular patients
• Radius rule in effect allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
• Covid vaccination not required
