The unit specializes in medical care including DKA, cardiac conditions, GI issues, renal problems, sepsis, trauma, and surgery. This is the dedicated stroke unit. The unit accommodates 30 beds. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:4. Candidates should possess the required certifications and the minimum experience necessary for this role.
