American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Oncology RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of relevant experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

• 16-bed Oncology Unit caring for adult oncology, hematology, end-of-life/hospice, and overflow medical-surgical patients
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of recent relevant nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Responsibilities include patient assessment and intervention, medication administration, following through with orders, monitoring patients, EHR documentation, implementing and monitoring care plans, and assisting with ADLs
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply that affects pay rate
• Candidates should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before the assignment end date
